About the Owner
Horticulture Specialists, LLC is founded and led by Carmine Casola, a third-generation agriculturalist with deep roots in the green industry. With over a decade of real-world experience across garden centers, landscape supply yards, nursery production, and residential consulting, Carmine has done it all — from loading mulch to diagnosing soil issues to designing full-scale plant layouts for high-end properties.
What separates Carmine from the average contractor is his hands-on background and no-nonsense approach. He doesn’t just manage crews — he works with the plants, knows the product, and understands what it takes to make landscapes thrive long-term. He’s the person quoting your job, helping source the right materials, and personally ensuring the work matches the standard.
Carmine started Horticulture Specialists to solve a growing problem in the industry — too many companies doing “landscaping” with no actual plant knowledge. The business was built to offer a smarter, leaner, more flexible solution for clients who want real results without the bloated overhead or guesswork.
